First post about the idea of this blog

Welcome!

The Russian MMA scene is one of the toughest is the World, which have been proven with a success of such Russian fighters as Fedor Emelianenko, Aleksandr Emelianenko, Andrei Arlovsky, Sergey Kharitonov, Roman Zentsov, Igor Vovchanchyn, Oleg Taktarov and others. The future looks even more bright with a lot of skillful fighters training under the eyes of current champions and their trainers. So it is only a matter of time, when new fighters start popping up on the global Mixed Martial Arts scene. The upcoming M-1 Global organization, which is owned by Vadim Finkenstein, and the role and scale of which is currently relatively unknown, will play a major part in the further success of Russian fighters.

The only problem is that there is not single English-language source of information about this interesting area, which makes it awkward for most of you interested in it, who don't speak or read Russian. That's the reason why I created this news web page
The concept is to post interesting and pretty much exclusive information on the topics concerning MMA organizations working in Russia like M-1 Global (M1, M-1, MFC) - а new Mixed Martial Arts organization where the undefeated PRIDE champion Fedor Emelianenko will be fighting in December of this year (2007), as well as to cover a variety of topics about Russian Mixed Martial Arts fighters.
