Results from Russian Combat Sambo Championship (Fedor Emelianenko)

The first day of the Russian Combat Sambo Championship is over. Four fighters from the Red Devil Sports Club were fighting and each of them got the medal. Fedor Emelianenko was also fighting and unsurprisingly won gold. It took him three bouts and 1 minutes 55 seconds in total.

As expected, Fedor Emelianenko won pretty easily in all of the three battles. Worth mentioning! Hats off to the Russian sambo combatants as this time not a single opponent in the main brackets refused to face Fedor while it occured a couple time during the European and World Combat Sambo Championships a while ago.

In the first bout Fedor rushed with a flurry of strikes taking down the opponent and won via submission in 35 seconds. The second one lasted mere 10 seconds as Fedor broke the adversary's nose.

The final that saw Fedor facing off against Stanislav Shushko was not that rapid though. Stanislav tried to keep Fedor on a distance utilizing his height and reach advantage. However Fedor broke the distance thanks to a series of punches and secured clinch. Then he threw Stanislav down and kept him there long enough to earn some points. After fighters got back on the feet situation repeated - series of punches and a throw. The only difference there was that Fedor finished his aggressive attack with a submission.
